Suit Size Chart
Suit size has been a hassle for many men. By using the chart you will be able to see exactly where you fit in terms of your suit size. Many different cuts and manufacturers may complicate the process depending on if they did a proper job, however you can still verify if their measurements are correct by doing it yourself. Keep in mind that if you are purchasing a suit that you get measured and then return to the location where you are purchasing the suit from for a refit. While this isn’t exactly the most practical way to do business many individuals have shown up to pick up their suit only to not have it fitted properly the first time. Therefore for online shoppers, it is advised that you use the chart and find the closest size to you. If you find that you might be a little bit small, it is best that you go a size up as this can be corrected in the fitting process.
Mens Suit Size Chart
Mens suit size chart is designed to show how short, regular and long measurements spread out across the table. The legend below the chart provides the height specifications for categorizing each size. This is useful when you look for certain sizes online and even when you visit local suit stores within your area.

How to Measure Suit Size
Measuring a suit is very easy and should not be viewed as complicated as you just have to find a tape measurer and another person to use it. The steps below provide you with exactly how you can determine your suit size. Note that it is advised that you have someone to do this because
if you are stretching in a certain position you may not get the correct measurement.
First, measure your chest by placing the measuring tape across and under your arms so that it captures the fullness of your chest. Keep in mind that you want to have the tape measurer parallel to the floor as it will prevent any skewed results.
Second, take the tape measurer and place it outside of your arms and across your chest. This measurement is helpful when determine if your first measurement was accurate. In doing so subtract seven inches from it and compare both the first steps measurement and this one you just found. Now compare both and take the measurement which is the bigger of the two.
Third, measure your waist starting at the belt line, which is above your hip bones. This will help you determine your trouser/pant sizes.
Fourth, measure your neck. Be sure to put a finger between your neck and the measuring tape as this will give you some breathing room when you are wearing the suit and not choked.
Fifth, your inseam will be calculated by placing the tape measured from the bottom of the middle of your pants to the bottom of your ankle.
Sixth, the sleeve can be found by starting from the top of your neck and then down to just above your wrist bone. Keep in mind that you keep your arm at your size during this and not stretched out.

The suit sizes are accurate I have tried them all. You have provided some great suits on here as well and I have actually purchased one. It came through no problem and it fit perfectly because I used the suit coat size chart to help me out. I will be returning to the site the next time I purchase another article of clothing. |
