Dress size depends upon the country of origin and the size of the individual.  Many times an individual will believe that their size is static and does not change, unfortunately it changes two ways which most people do not consider.  It depends upon the country that the dress originated in and the manufacturer.  Use dress conversion chart as a guide to help you whenever making oversea purchases to make sure that you are getting the size you need.

How to measure dress size

1. The bust first needs to be measured to ensure a proper fit.  To ensure that this is done properly make sure that the measuring tape that starts first on your back and around your nipple line with your bra on.  Also, make sure that you are relaxed and you are not stretching.
2. Next the waist will need to be measured.  The tape will need to be placed one inch above your belly button to ensure a proper fit.  Make sure that you are measuring the narrowest part of your body and do not suck in your stomach, be happy with your size no matter what as when a garment fits, it looks better than it does if it doesn’t fit properly.
3. Last your hips will need to be measured.  First stand straight with your clothes together, do not stretch.  Have the tape go around your hips and across your hip bone.  You can validate your measurement by placing your palms on your waist and letting your fingers hang down, to ensure that this is done properly your finger tips should be at the fullest part of your hips.
